There are several ways you can support the museum.

Prince Henry Hospital Museum is administered by Prince Henry Trained Nurses Association (PHHTNA), a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. If you would like to provide some financial support to the museum you can donate (donations over $2 are tax deductible) or sponsor an artifact or activity. Funds raised go towards maintenance of the museum, the collection and exhibitions, research projects and acquisition of suitable items for the collection.

You can donate in a variety of ways:

  • Over the phone: please contact the Treasure on 02 90190784
  • By cheque: please send cheques to: The Secretary, PHHTNA Inc, 2 Brodie Ave, Little Bay, NSW 2036
  • If you wish to leave a donation in your will, please email the PHHTNA President to arrange a call back.

If you would like to discuss a sponsorship opportunity, please contact the Treasure on 02 90190784 to discuss options.

PHHTNA is a volunteer organisation largely made up of nurses and retired nurses who had trained at Prince Henry Hospital. As time passes the organisation has opened up an associate membership to those with a more distant connection or an interest in the history of the hospital. The museum is always seeking interested volunteers to help maintain the collection and support the operations of the museum. If you would like to find out more about volunteering opportunities please email the Volunteer Coordinator.

There is a small shop at the museum that sells handmade arts and crafts and non-perishable food items such as preserves. PHHTNA invites anyone who would like to provide handmade goods to this shop to do so. If you are interested in supplying something for The Little Shop please contact the museum on O2 90190784.

Do you have an item you would like to donate our collection? The Prince Henry Hospital Museum collects artefacts and ephemera related to the history of the hospital in particular, and to medicine and nursing in general. If you have something you are considering donating please email the Museum Coordinator.
